My Last Course Reflection

This course
has undoubtedly been very helpful in my preparation as a future English
teacher. There are many things that I learned throughout this course, such as
how to formulate questions in a way that is consistent with the information
that I am providing to the student, I also learned to teach in a way that I
consider to be more attractive to the student and that is easier to learn.
The global
pandemic that affected the entire world also forced us to use new teaching and
learning methods. However, I am very grateful to Professor Jonathan since he
taught me to use many tools that I did not know, and that will now be essential
when teaching students in virtual classes.
Now, if we
talk about the mini-project that made me feel proud of my abilities, it was the
mini-project called “Types of Air Transport”, why? Well, I think that the fact
that I had to search for some information to create a video and that I
additionally had to prepare questions about it, all this with the intention of
creating material to teach and at the same time to evaluate the student was
very gratifying since I was able to realize my skills and the technological
tools that we have at our disposal that can be very useful.
I think it is impossible not to dream of the day when I will become a professional. There have been courses that have been very challenging but not impossible. I have learned many ways to learn and teach, I have learned from my mistakes, and I have also learned from my peers. In the future when I have to be in front of my students, I will try to teach them in the simplest way possible, making a lot of use of technological tools.
Finally, I consider that this course has been one of the most profitable that I have had throughout my career. It is amazing that this course has increased my knowledge in different areas, but mainly in the use of technology to teach and assess. If I had to choose one of the many pieces of knowledge that I acquired throughout the course, it would be the fact of learning to use blogger and google forms, since practically through these tools I can do everything, teach, evaluate, and even put the students to learn by himself.
I really felt your words! I´m still dreaming of becoming teacher, and to see all of my work and effort was worth it... I hope all your dreams come true!

ResponderBorrarYou are right Danny, we all think about the moment we are going to become teachers and this course its going to really help us to become better teachers and what I liked the most about this course its exactly what you said that we get knowledge in different areas that are going to be indispensable.
